Ralphy’s Rules for Living the Good Life Book Release

PRESS RELEASE  UPDATED: MARCH 9, 2021

Salt Lake City, Utah , – Author Talar Herculian Coursey is pleased to announce the release of her second publication, a children’s book titled, Ralphy’s Rules for Living the Good Life. The book is illustrated by Armenia based illustrator, Meri Andreasyan, and features colorful illustrations telling the story of a cranky squirrel who learns the lessons from Don Miguel Ruiz’s The Four Agreements from a happy dog named Ralphy.

Talar is a lawyer by day and author by night. She has served as General Counsel for Vista Ford Lincoln auto dealerships in Southern California since 2011. She started her legal career at 18 as a file clerk at the national labor and employment law firm Fisher Phillips LLP and later returned to become a partner.

Talar wrote Ralphy’s Rules for Living the Good Life to raise money for the Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief (SOAR) for which she serves as Salt Lake City Chapter President.

Talar began supporting SOAR in 2006 following her father’s untimely death in Lebanon. Talar’s father, Mardig Herculian, was visiting his home in Anjar when war began between Hezbollah and Israel. Mardig became ill and Talar tried to bring him home to Southern California. She made a perilous journey to Anjar, through the bombed border from Damascus with her brother and mother to get to her father. He died 12 hours after she arrived.  She raises money for Armenian orphanages in his memory.

Ralphy’s Rules for Living the Good Life is available to pre-order on Amazon. To learn more about the book and the author,
