Immigrant Stories- Day 17

I took World History with Mr. Bob Nealy in the 9th grade at Capistrano Valley High School.

Mr. Nealy was a wonderful teacher and I was sad to hear that he passed away four years ago.

He was a successful entrepreneur who invented the modern leash for surfboards so he wasn’t teaching for the money.

One day, he let me play teacher for a day.

I taught World History for a day.

I don’t know if I was any good.

I’ve decided that instead of teaching history, I should try sharing it with you from others who know more than I do.
